Job Summary:

As the Head of Sales for credit cards, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day complexities to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve business objectives related to credit card products. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, building, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and staying abreast of industry trends to capitalize on market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed credit card sales targets.

- Provide vision and direction for the sales teams in various channels, aligning goals with overall business objectives.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth.

2. Product Knowledge and Compliance:

- Ensure the sales team possesses in-depth knowledge of credit card products and services.

- Monitor and enforce compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

3. Client Relationship Management:

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to enhance the overall customer experience.

4. Sales Performance Analysis:

- Utilize data and analytics to assess sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales metrics, trends, and forecasts.

5. Sales Process Optimization:

- Continuously improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Implement best practices and innovative approaches to drive sales performance.

6. Training and Development:

- Provide ongoing training to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer relationship management.

7. Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the financial services industry with a focus on credit cards.

- Strong understanding of credit card products, industry regulations, and market dynamics.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Results-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
