Job Overview

- The role is to lead a team of Sr Manager/Manager - Account Managements, Manager Account Managements and Customer Support Associates and grow subscriptions to India's first and best real-time market data terminal, the Cogencis WorkStation, to customers across the BFSI, Corporate, Conglomerate and Sell Side customer segments in a given territory.

- This is an end-to-end role with responsibility of team handling, people management, coaching & mentoring and meeting new sales and retention targets of Branch.

- Assisting team members in opening doors or conducting introductory meetings with senior decision makers and/ or CXO level people in customer organisations is an integral part of the role.

- Ensuring high level of activities and pro-active engagement with decision makers and end-users for achieving sales and retention targets and enforcing adherence to sales discipline and company policy is key

Key Skills and Attributes:

- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Presentation skills.

- Prior team handling experience preferred.

- Excellent selling skills with focus on numbers.

- Willingness and Ability to learn.

- Good analytical, numerical, and account management skills.

- Relationship building capability.

- Good Negotiation and Influencing Skills.

- Proven experience in developing customer retention strategies.

- Able to work under pressure and meet the given deadlines.

Education & Experience Required:

- Graduate with any Specialization. Post-Graduation/MBA would be preferred if candidates demonstrate skills or attributes relevant to the job.

- Prior working knowledge of Financial and Capital Markets in general and Forex, Fixed Income markets in particular would be an added advantage.

- Prior experience of selling to target customer segment (Head Treasury, CFO/VP Finance, Director) is essential.

- A working knowledge of real-time market data terminals such as Cogencis, Bloomberg, Eikon or of database products such as CMIE, Capital Line, Factset, EMIS, CMIE and Capital IQ will be an added advantage
