Skill set required:
- Good educational background. CA / BE / MBA from reputed institute.
- Minimum 5 years' experience of handling risk management of retail online broking business. Experience of working on Omnesys refinitiv RMS system or Rupeeseed RMS system or ODIN RMS system.
- Excellent analytic ability to understand the diverse complex risk and business issues, analyzing and identifying the root causes and recommending solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and command over written and spoken English.
The job profile will include following activities / areas:
Risk Management of Retail stock broking segment:
- Analysing the system requirement for new and existing capital market products from Risk Management perspective and contributing system logic towards development of risk management systems & applications. Coordinating with Technology team (In-house IT team as well as with outside vendors) for development and implementation of required system changes and new system developments. Conducting required testing before implementation.
- Decision making on the margins (margins to cover the risk), stocks and limits / checks to be applied in various leveraged products considering the associated market risk and credit risk. Taking decisions on how much leverage to be offered on derivative and intraday products, at what level to square-off positions, what safeguards to be taken and parameters to be set in RMS system to avoid out-of-pocket scenarios etc.
- Analysing new and existing retail online segment capital market products from market risk perspective, analyzing the possible adverse impact of identified risks, and suggesting / applying risk mitigating measures to manage those risks. Developing and implementing processes, system logics & checks for overall risk management.
- Monitoring / analyzing market trends / dynamics and deciding about timely precautionary risk management measures depending upon prevailing market conditions.
- Monitoring regulatory changes. Analysing its impact. Making necessary changes in policies, systems, products, procedures & limits to comply with and implement the regulatory changes.
- Framing structure of various Risk MIS reports and ensure implementation through the team.
- Regular review of risk management structure (risk parameters, limits and processes) from the perspective of control as well as scope for improvement.
- Interaction / correspondence with regulators with respect to regulatory changes, issues / suggestions, official communication / submissions etc.
- Ability to prepare MACROs in excel to automate routine processes would be useful.
