About our Client - Our client is one of the leading Investment Bank. As a part of expansion in their global business, they are looking for an AVP - Risk and Financial Control for their finance shared service based in Delhi/NCR. They are looking for seasoned professional to manage the control environment of the site. This function will be established in response to the critical business need for end to end knowledge and understanding of accounting processes for all business activity within the Finance set up.

Job Description - Reporting into the Head - Risk and Control, you would be responsible for managing and strengthening Risk Management and Control Environment in the finance shared service. Your key responsibilities would be:

- Building and maintaining the risk and control framework across multiple geographies including assurance, audit and reporting

- Developing and implementing the overall control environment to manage compliance to SOX regulations

- You would also be responsible for managing business continuity, compliance, controls and internal audit and is expected to represent India at Finance wide risk and control forums.

The Successful Candidate - You must be a CA/CPA with at least 10 to 12 years of post-qualification experience in risk and financial control.

- You must excellent exposure across diverse finance & accounting functions (reporting, payables, LEC, etc)

- You should have thorough understanding of financial control principles and regulations like SOX, Basel etc along with knowledge of financial systems and reporting processes.

- Prior experience of managing relationships with internal and external audit teams is essential.
