AVP-Risk analytics


Essential Functions / Responsibilities:


- Lead and develop a team of 3 exempt professionals that will progress toward a Risk Analytics Athlete defined as gaining functional knowledge across Risk and advancing technical capabilities using various analytical tools across all data repositories.


- Strategically develop a vision to lead, influence and progress the team's analytics-based oversight journey that supports company's goals and long-term plan, while developing and aligning team goals and priorities that will drive focus and accountability.


- Lead 2LOD risk analytical engagements develop a solutions based approach to data driven challenges by driving efficiencies / effectiveness through using tools like visualization, automation, analytics and advanced analytics on these engagements.


- Works directly with the customers to translate their data driven problems and requirements into an agreed upon solution.


- Leading these engagements will require interaction and collaboration with VP and SVP leaders across the Risk organization, while leveraging skills that include project management, facilitation, influencing and effective challenge.


- This team will be required to understand the functions and processes related to these engagement in order to identify patterns and draw insights from this information that will help their customers progress their oversight and assessments across Company.


- Management of the team capacity and resource alignment balancing skills required, level of effort, priority and complexity


- Responsible for working closely with the AML /BSA Compliance Team and Training Team, ensuring their analytical needs are delivered including quarterly / yearly assessments, dashboards, and ongoing reporting.


- Provide support to the eGRC Team related to the RCSA program, Risk Appetite, and Loss Trigger assessments and ongoing reports.


- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned


Qualifications / Requirements:


- Bachelor's/PG degree with 6+ Years of working experience in Financial Services with a strong understanding of analytics and at least 1 year with direct team management or in lieu of a degree, 8+ Years of working experience in Financial Services with a strong understanding of analytics and at least 3 year with direct team management


- 3+ years of solid working knowledge of programming languages like SAS, SQL and Tableau


- Strong written/oral communication skills


- Shift Timing - 2 PM to 11 PM IST


Desired Qualifications:


- Good understanding of USA credit business market


- Strong Leadership skills


- Credit card analytics experience


- Exposure to R, Python and Machine learning tool
