Purpose of the Role
- Strategy & Leadership
Improve the quality of regulatory reporting
Identify upcoming regulatory obligations/ trends and facilitate the implementation of related projects initiatives
Cascade and implement the directives from Unit Head
Provide leadership and direction to the reporting teams/individuals
- Change Management
Contribute/Lead/Implement organizational changes
Facilitate operationalization of regulatory projects
Supervise regulatory projects and take corrective action in case of deviation
Inculcate and implement a strong CI culture as part of team's daily routine
Facilitate the implementation of incremental/big-ticket optimization measures
Encourage adoption of new technologies/best practices
- Client/Stakeholder Management
Cultivate a transparent and mutually rewarding client/partner relationship
Identify and implement client/partner satisfying initiatives
Work collaboratively with other stakeholders in the regulatory chain to analyze and resolve issues concerning regulatory projects/processes.

Qualifications
- A good academic background
- Relevant investment banking knowledge and experience
Abilities / Skills Required
- Project execution skills at a global level
- Good knowledge and understanding of investment banking domain
- Understanding of trade life cycle
- Deep knowledge of capital market OTC derivative products (Equity, Commodities, Currencies, Rates and Credit)
- An curious mind
- Ability to quickly grasp and connect the dots of complex/fast evolving scenarios
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
