AVP - Product Manager - Escrow Services - Wholesale Banking
- Global Transaction Services is the Product & Sales Support function that provides product expertise to the various segments of Bank, spanning Consumer Bank, Commercial Bank and Wholesale Banking divisions. Products range from payment & collections solutions, escrow services & dividend business to trade finance (import services, export services, funded & non-funded products and remittances), Payment Gateway etc.
- We are currently looking at Escrow Product Managers who will be responsible for end to end delivery and experience of the product across Wholesale, Consumer & Commercial Bank segments.
- Escrow Product Manager is a critical and challenging role where the individual needs to be the owner of strategy, roadmap and customer experience of the program across bank. He/she needs to work on Escrow and Capital Market agreements and focus on commercialization activities including standard collateral creation, hosting of product information on internal knowledge pages, standard collateral for implementation, awards pitches, financials updates, and product governance matters.
- Vetting of Escrow agreements from risk/ compliance/ regulatory/ operational and feasibility perspective
- Structuring transactions on a case by case requirement
- Liaising with internal/ external stakeholders for facilitating escrow business
- Enabling sales team for sourcing escrow deals
- Continuously working towards improvement of product and relevant processes basis opportunities & competitive benchmarking
- Undertaking various projects to digitize/ automate the Escrow journeys
- Negotiating with clients, legal counsels and facilitate transaction closings. Ensure that regulatory, tax and legal related issues are complied with
- Identify & resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial & technical goals
- Use data, analytics & critical thinking to drive alignment on product vision
- Vetting of Escrow agreements from risk/ compliance/ regulatory/ operational and feasibility perspective
- Identify new opportunities for escrows through intermediary and the markets
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be market savvy, with good networking skills
- Must be proactive and with high energy levels
- Must be analytical, practical and have aptitude for trouble-shooting
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be tenacious, detail-oriented
- Been in Banking / Finance industry
- Must have able to settle in an environment requiring entrepreneurial/ building skills
- Keen interest in structuring and implement deals
- Must be capable of working with a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills
- Good with PowerPoint and Excel
- Preferably an MBA/ CA
