About our Client - Our client is an Investment Bank of great repute that is looking to enhance its business by recruiting experienced Product Controllers, to join at the AVP level, in their operations at Mumbai and Bangalore.

Job Description - Production of daily P&L for a number of trading books

- Reconciliation between front office spreadsheets and the back office P&L

- Valuation of positions, cash balances, funding and provisions

- Analyzing, explaining and validating P&L according to market moves and new trades

- Managing all marketing and risk provisions on the books to ensure accurate P&L reporting

- Where appropriate, acting as line representative on major change projects

- Taking ownership of and resolving any issues that arise from the day to day and monthly processes

- Liaising with the front office for process development and ad hoc query resolution

- Reconciling of general ledger

The Successful Candidate - You Will:

- Possess a Degree in Finance/Accounting along with a CFA/CPA qualification

- Have at least 7 years of Product control experience

- Understand the trade information process flows between different departments within the bank

- Know how the provision values are derived and how they impact overall P&L

- Have some auditing experience
