Job Description - Reporting to a VP. Your specific responsibilities would include:

- Working in a Product control to develop a control framework and implement the control measures for the trading desk (Equity Derivatives).

- Perform control on the trading activities to ensure that they are in accordance with mandates and limits.

- Perform reporting on daily P&L reporting to ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of P&L.

- Verify trader's estimates and explain the difference between estimates and actual

- Work closely with the desk and COO to perform reporting on P&L, balance sheet and control reporting

- Reconcile P&L to General Ledger and review front to back systems with the ledger.

The Successful Candidate - You are a confident and qualified MBA or chartered accountant with at least 5 years of Investment Banking or Product Control experience. You will have excellent knowledge of Equity products and their accounting treatment with prior managerial experience. You are fully conversant with the fundamentals of Financial Controls in a banking environment. Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent and you have a track record of being adaptable and culturally aware. Experience of working in a global environment preferable
