Position - Assistant Vice President – Procurements & Contracts

Role
- Lead the overall procurement & contracts function of Hydro SBU to ensure timely, cost effective and systematic award of contracts and to carryout contract administration upon contract award so as to ensure that projects are completed within stipulated time & cost.
Key Accountabilities

Key Performance Indicators
- Drafting, review, execution and monitoring of Contractual documents
- Preparation of Civil Contracts, Hydro Mechanical Contracts, Electromechanical Contracts for hydro projects
- Preparation of Consultancy Contracts, if consultants are engaged for consultancy of any nature.
- Preparation of contracts of Engineering, Procurement and Commission (EPC) nature.
- Taking inputs for various stakeholders in finalization of Power Purchase Agreement
- PPAs - Drafting, Documentation and
- Finalization of Implementation Agreement AOP, MIS, on-time resolution of issues and effective contract management
Contact Management & Procurement
- Administration of Contracts including Claim Management and Risk Management
- Oversee Procurement Activities
- Timely procurement in a cost effective manner
External Interactions/Internal Interactions
- Suppliers, Contractors -

Dimensions
Financial Dimensions: Budgets- To follow the board approved budgets without any cost overrun
Other Dimensions: Interpersonal skills to develop a healthy rapport with all the finance heads including other stake holders and business heads.
Skills & Knowledge
Educational Qualification: BE with MBA.
Relevant & Total years of Experience: 22 to 25 years of experience in infrastructure companies, particularly power sector companies.
