- In Global Banking and Markets, client onboarding lifecycle management is crucial for acting on the responsibility to detect, deter and protect against financial crime.
- To more effectively improve the end-to-end process, Client Management Group, Client Data Services and Documentation Operations have now come together to form a new team called Global Banking and Markets Client Operations. Specifically, Client Operations will help improve the client onboarding experience, increasing the capacity of Relationship Managers to focus on new business opportunities. It will continue to meet all regulatory deadlines and financial crime compliance standards, while improving the ability to onboard new clients.
- The primary responsibilities of the role are the identification and implementation of business process improvement within GBM Client Operations. In order to achieve this the individual will be required to perform the following specific tasks:
- Facilitate RIP- style workshops and similar forums with key subject matter and business process experts in the GSCs
- Map and document end-to-end processes in order to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, inconsistencies or unnecessary elements
- Present opportunities for improvement clearly articulating business drivers and benefits for change
- Actively track, measure and report post implementation benefit realisation and compare to predicted outcomes
- Establish strong business process re-engineering discipline and ensure solutions are consistent across regions and sectors
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve automation/ STP through use of technology
