About our Client - Our client is a leading MNC Bank which has seen stellar growth in the last decade. Having started their analytics practice a few years back, they are very ambitious to grow it further and develop world class talent of enterprising individuals. Therefore they are looking for a AVP in their analytics team with experience in pricing domain.
Job Description - You will be reporting to the VP and key responsibilities of the role are - Build effective teams to deliver on business priorities
- Manage the project pipeline to ensure prioritization and resourcing and drive project execution
- Develop comprehensive analytical testing plans based on a thorough understanding of the essence of the business strategy/intent
- Establish a structured interaction model with the partners.
- Compare results from pre & post-implementation testing with original analytical forecast and reconcile any variances
- Constantly work towards improving existing testing process (e.g. through automation and standardization)
- Significant interaction with the IT team
The Successful Candidate - To be a successful candidate you should have - Strong Analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability.
- Good Problem solver who pays attention to detail and due diligence
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross -functional partners for diagnosis and issue resolution; effectively over conference calls.
- Strong process/project management skill Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS/SQL and complex data sources.
- Candidates with credit card system testing and prior experience in North America credit card industry preferred
- Should have work experience in functional areas such as Quality Control/Testing/Auditing, with proven ability to uncover defects through testing for complex system functionality build projects
- Passion for building the best-in-class Quality Control process through analytical testing, with attention to detail and drive for precision
- Flexible working hours, willing to work odd hours (1/2 PM to midnight - 60-70% of the time)
- Candidates must have worked with large data sets and have used SAS/SQL proficiently for extracting and manipulating data are eligible as the individual should be able to guide team members.
- Should hold Masters in Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Administration, Economics etc. from Premier Institute
- 6-10 Yrs Experience in Financial Services/Analytics Industry
- People management experience
