Designation: Associate Vice President (Level 9)
Years of Experience: 15+ years / 10+ years
Location: Pune / Bangalore
# of Roles: 1 Insurance / 1 Capital Markets / 1 GRC
Preferable Industry Exposure: BPO - customer facing, project management, Operation (Optional) required to have work experience with best in class 3rd party BPOs / Captives
Role Summary
As one of the key leaders in the Project Management office for the transformation function, the role has a vary degree of impact to our overall performance. We are looking for a thought leader who will bring best practices on board and look at strategic opportunities, instead of focusing only on transition execution.
Experience Profile
1. Strong Project Manage skills on medium to large transformation deals (Formal Project Management certifications required)
2. Managing tech projects is a plus
3. Demonstrated ability to bring about systemic, sustainable change/ improvement
4. Thought leadership to carve out themes and opportunity areas instead of focusing on solving for transactional issues
5. Focus on continuous improvement - should be data-centric in problem solving approach. (Formal certifications like Six Sigma Green Belt/ Black Belt are not mandatory, but are very strongly preferred.)
6. Deep transition experience - handled multiple, large transitions with different levels of complexity
7. Should be able to work as an individual contributor
8. Deep understanding of the different aspects of BPO business in QA, MIS, SLA, Base-lining, etc.
9. Strong focus on deliverables
Key Performance Areas
1. Delivery high-impact improvement projects ensuring that the transitions are effective, on time and within budget.
2. Ensure improvement projects are have a real impact on actual transitions - (be able to ensure adoption of improvement initiatives)
3. Individual Contributor
4. Identify internal issues with respect to the project that are impediments to great performance, and solve for them
5. Building transition solution for new opportunities - RFIs/ RFPs

Technical Skills
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies. Should be very proficient in MS Project and other MS tools
- PMO Transformation experience within the Insurance Background is essential for those applying for the Insurance position (Preference for General Insurance)
- PMO Transformation experience within the Capital Markets Background is essential for those applying for the Capital Markets position
