AVP will be responsible for:
- Providing inputs like internal data and benchmarks and support the Global OD strategy formulation.
- Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
- Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
- Designs and develops HR training programs for management and employees.
- Develops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
- Reviews evaluations of training courses, objectives and accomplishments.
- Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance.
- Trains employees on HR issues and practices. Presents course materials.
- Consults with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance.
- Driving developmental opportunities for his/her reports and exhibit excellent leadership and coaching skills.
- Creating comprehensive training budgets in conversation with the leaders. Good understanding of the cost drivers of the budget.
- Building client relationship by gathering client inputs to create a consensus understanding of their needs and being able to design and implement leadership development interventions.
Driving Execution by:
- Conducting training needs analysis through 1-0-1 interviews and FGDs across levels
- Creating/validating training content applying ID design principles
- Organisation effectiveness,design and restructuring.
- Govern and analyze to improve the comprehensive training process starting from Nominations, Class governance, Participant feedback, Efficacy study.
- Communicating and coordinating with vendors for end to end external program management - scan, shortlist, collaborate to work with external vendors for top developmental interventions
- Driving organizational decisions by collating and leveraging data insights
Reporting to
VP - Global OD
Qualifications:
- MBA/Master's degree in Psychology or related degree (Tier 1 Institute)
- Certified Master Trainer in leadership development topics will be preferred
Additional Qualification
- Certification in Psychometric evaluations preferred
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to write concise and present ideas
- A passion for leadership development
- Demonstrated ability to work across Geos and teams
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent in data handling and analytics
Experience:
- 15+ years of overall experience in HR
- 7+ years in OD in collaboration with external partners
