AVP - Operations & Central Processing - MFI Sector

Principal responsibilities - 

- Management of the overall quality and efficiency of operations

- Develop, refine and implement Operations strategy ranging from area selection, product design and delivery, portfolio quality management, Client outreach and communications.

- Lead team of Zonal Operations Managers to provide business support to Field Operations

- Lead a Central Team to manage products and process and ensure portfolio quality

- Responsible for various business process re-engineering initiatives

- Lead Business Intelligence team to deliver dashboards/trackers across the spectrum - field operations to Top-Mgmt DSS

- Incentive structuring and management to optimise quantity with quality

- Ensure Compliance with SRO/Regulator guidelines and ensure statutory reporting

- Manage policy changes proactively to ensure business stays ahead of the curve

- Work closely with business units and develop a culture of ownership to ensure portfolio quality as well as business growth

- Customer insights and management of grievance redressal through Customer Care Team

- Lead the training team to build capacity and skills of:

field teams across modules from Preparatory Training to freshers, induction, refreshers and capacity building

supervisory team on leadership, team management and effective management

Experience:

- Well-rounded experience in product management and portfolio quality management in the MFI space.

- Good presentation and communication skills.

- Strong in analytical skills and data analysis

- A thorough understanding of microfinance performance metrics/indicators and the ability to interpret and process operations data

- Well-rounded experience in product management and portfolio quality management

- Ability to work with field operation in design and implementation of product and policy

- Strong interpersonal Skills-Capacity to work under pressure, prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Work closely with Audit and Risk on portfolio quality

- Solution oriented and be able to work with diverse teams

- Ability to provide thought leadership and team building to meet goals of the organization

Qualification:

- MBA with at least 10-15 years of experience in MFIs Sector. Should have worked in multiple geographies. High level of exposure to technology adoption is desirable.
