Core Responsibilities:
Analytic Project Execution: Build effective teams to deliver on business priorities. Decompose business priorities into candidate projects. Consult with partners to initiate project aligned to business needs. Manage the project pipeline to ensure prioritization and resourcing. Influence analytic approaches through learning's and insights.
Modeling Project Management :
- Ability to convert business problem to analytical problem
- Help the team to identify relevant statistical method for each analytical problem
- Review modeling project regularly and get required approvals from multiple stakeholder
- Work with tech team to implement final model
- Ensure 100% - Model control assessment- satisfaction and flawless campaign execution
- Ensure 100% satisfaction in legal/compliance on all model development and usage
- Help the team on model audit
Communication: Effectively communicate strategic considerations with team, partners and senior management.
Organizational Development: Drive organizational development initiatives.
Partner Management: Participate in periodic meetings with Business Partners to share overall status of work, progress, issues.
Team Management: Build high performance teams and make an objective assessment of the performance of the team and identify opportunity areas to enhance performance
Analytical Skills:
Minimum 8 yrs work experience (With 6yrs modeling hands-on experience)
High Proficient with modeling concepts (Hypothesis testing Segmentation, Clustering, Decision trees, OLS, Logistics and expertise in machine learning methods)
Demonstrated ability in data retrieving and manipulation as well as proficient analytical skills.
Proficient in financial simulation
Domain Skills: In depth understanding of Customer lifecycle Management within the financial services domain (Cards):
- Acquisitions
- Customer engagement( Pricing, P&L forecasting)
- Customer servicing & understanding customer touch points
- Customer retention
Soft Skills:
- Strong project and partner management skills
- Build high performance teams
- Act as a Change leader
- Coaching and Mentoring team members
- Interviewing skills and precision questioning
Tools and Platforms:
- Proficient in MS Excel, Powerpoint
- Proficient in SAS, SQL and Knowledge Seeker
- Familiarity with Statistical Modeling tools: SAS, R and python
- Hands on experience in Big Data Platform
