AVP – MI Reporting

MNC Bank KPO

Location- NCR & Chennai

Principal Accountabilities

MI Reporting-

- Review Schedules/ Commentaries for Profit and loss and Balance Sheet items

Group Reporting-

- (by site, entity, region and group level) - Flash, Profitability, Liquidity, RWA, non-financial

- Review Financial reporting (by site, entity, region and group level) - Flash, Profitability, Liquidity, RWA, non-financial

- Prepare Primary, Supplementary, Cost and other schedules

- Review Primary, Supplementary, Cost and other schedules

- Ensure Key Checks on Schedules before final submission

Consolidation-

- Consolidate and validate financials from sites and entities

- Prepare Customer Group allocations

- Review hierarchy reconciliations - Geographic & managed view

- Take lead in resolution of hierarchy differences/issues

MICG-

- Review MI packs (by site, entity, region) - Board, Exco, other specific packs, including analysis and commentary

Business MI-

- Review Financial reporting (by product, branch, customer group level) - revenue, cost, profitability, risk, RWA, non-financial

Process Improvements-

- Continuous review of process with the objective of improving the resource utilization, time taken and quality of deliverables

- Implement high-impact projects for enhancing operational efficiency or process capability

- Initiate or lead high-impact projects for enhancing operational efficiency or process capability

- Identify opportunities for process linkages/synergy across

Submission Management-

- Make Decisions and prepare / execute plan on overdue submissions

Knowledge management-

- Conduct Subject Matter Expert Trainings

- Ensure knowledge retention through Cross Training and job rotations

- Identify training needs /Knowledge gaps and execute plans to bridge the gaps

- Provide an environment to ensure effective Knowledge retention/ Enhancement and Exchange across vertical

- Ensure best practice sharing

Exceptional Handling / Troubleshooting-

- Identify Solutions and troubleshoot Exceptional situation

- Manage Business Partner Impact and implement adequate Mitigants

- Design Long term Solutions for Detection, prevention and management of exceptional issues

System Development-

- Project Management relating activities i.e. stakeholder management, Timely completion etc.

System Maintenance-

- Change management for any requests for data or reporting change

Compliance & Risk Control-

- Review and Monitor adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting and Compliance and regulatory standards and policies

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

- Professional Qualification-CA/ICWA/ CFA/ MBA FIN/ CPA/ ACCA

- Experience - Post qualification-Experience – (8 to 11 Years)

- Experience - Non Qualified-B.COM/ BBA, CA/ICWA inter, MCOM (12 to 15 Years)

- Experience - People-Team Handling capability (team Size)- (10 to 30 Years)

- Technical Experience-Previous experience in Accounting & reporting in audit firms, leading MNCs, Indian corporates etc.

- Technical Knowledge-IFRS/US GAAP Closing & Reporting

- Expert knowledge in handling P&L, Balance sheet and KPI reporting (Finalization & review upto Annual Report).

- Knowledge on application of Six sigma & change management

- Hands on Experience using MS Office applications, expert Knowledge of Excel(Vlookup, Hlookup, etc.) & MACROS

- System Knowledge-Experience in working on GL / Reporting systems like - Oracle/SAP/ Hyperion or similar
