AVP MI & Data Analytics (Data Mining) for an MNC Bank (Technical) for an MNC Bank in Hyderabad

Purpose of Department :

Service Level Management and Improvement (SLM&I) is responsible for ensuring service performance is meeting or exceeding expectations. An independent assessment approach is taken providing service performance trends for Technical Business services that are consumed by the global businesses, global functions and/or regions.

Job Description

The Specialist will:

- Provide service performance insights through independent assessments and identification of improvement opportunities from a Business, Functional and Regional perspective

- Analyse service performance achievements through scientific and subjective measures correlating performance trends and customer experience information to support identified improvement opportunities

- Collaborate across teams/domains to drive an effective sustainable improvement identification process

- Execute a consistent information management framework of effective and widely accepted metrics and key performance indicators, aligned with industry standards to internally benchmark and drive continuous service improvement

- Support the delivery of globally consistent Service Level Management and Improvement policies to ensure consistent processes and tools are established and effectively used globally

- Establish close working relationships with stakeholders, whilst maintaining independence/objectivity to enable effective communication of potential improvement opportunities.

- Engage with the Global Business, Global Functions and Regional Service Level Management & Information peers to share best practice as input to standardization and process improvement

- Lead Improvement Projects and initiatives to meet and exceed stake holder expectations

- Ensure performance insights are provided in a timely manner, ensuring message is clear and concise enough to facilitate senior management to make decisions.

Candidate Profile :

- Degree / Masters in mathematics/ statistics/ economics having 10 - 16 years of experience in MI & Reporting, Analytics supporting Technology Units of an MNC where one gets to interact with technical Heads and supports them with the Data Analysis, Reports, etc., for effective decision making.

- In depth knowledge of technology and business operational processes.

- Excellent understanding service management concepts (Formal certification would be preferable)

- Sound understanding of data mining techniques with the ability to analyse high volumes of data and highlight trends and issues offering innovative and practical solutions

- Ability to make recommendations based on both subjective and objective information consulting skills.

- Excellent organizational, planning and management skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple, conflicting work streams.

- Personal tenacity, drive and innovation to progress ideas to delivery across a complex global environment.

- Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills, focusing on remote and written
communications, inclusive of ability and experience in interacting with higher positions.

- Solid partner/stakeholder interaction customer oriented.

- Excellent decision making and problem solving ability.

- Experience of working in a team environment using appropriate communication and planning skills across a matrix functional environment.

- Awareness of project management techniques.

- Good knowledge of MS Office, Cognos / Business Objects.

Should be flexible to work in shifts from 11:00AM - 2:00AM as the individual will support different geographies.
