AVP – Material Handling Equipments Engineering

Reports to : EVP – Product Development, Innovation and Growth

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/ Automotive Engineering from a premier Institute.

- Experience in product development, defining, architecting, and leading the product strategy from concept through execution and beyond.

- Should have handled progressively increasing responsibilities in Senior Management in Product Engineering and Development role.

- Desired work experience of more than 20 years in the relevant areas in automotive / Construction equipment design areas.

Previous senior leadership experience (a minimum of five years)

Position Details:

- SUMMARY: Leading multiple product verticals of the Material Handling Equipment, viz. Cranes, Telehandlers, Skid Steer Loaders Engineering, each vertical being led by respective Engineering Managers.

- Responsible for managing product portfolio, introducing new products, and spearhead the proactive strategy of product leadership, innovation and growth.

- He/ She would plan and directs all activities related to Product Engineering such as concept development, product design, engineering document control, engineering change management and continues improvement in design and product portfolio.
