An opportunity to perform an essential support role for IWS Function and critical team which supports all IWS booking centers in:

- Promoting accountable risk and control decision-making, desired behaviors and a positive risk culture

- Enabling the business to articulate the risk profile of the business/service/process clearly, consistently, and comprehensively, including the integrity of processes and controls, or risks that may take the risk profile of the business outside of tolerance

- Identifying trends to anticipate future developments in the risk and control environment

- Supporting Risk Owners, Business Service Owners, Control Owners, and Risk Stewards through proactive advice based on NFR framework knowledge and insights

The Opportunity:

- In practical terms, you will act as key support to booking center CCO team members in the management of Non-Financial Risk:

- Risk configuration and assessment

- Control & Continuous monitoring assessment

- Internal Event escalation and management

- Issue and Action escalation and management

- Data Quality exception management and resolution

- Business Service Owner interface

- Management Information and Reporting

- Maintenance of Group risk management system record keeping

Impact on the Business:

GROW:

- Provide support in all areas of responsibility.

- Support coordination of IWS CCO activities across all NFR & BFCR activities.

- Participate in functional meetings and escalate any issues/challenges in a timely manner and propose solutions where required.

- Successful delivery of considerable optimization & efficiency gain project undertaken

- Timely completion of planned activities without any delay attributable to GSC functions.

- Recorded evidence by Line Manager and business stakeholders

PROTECT:

- Adhere to all relevant Audit and Compliance requirements

Customers / Stakeholders:

- Maintain excellent high-quality records

- Provide accurate and timely MI

- Ensure all processed MI's/ global & region-specific tasks and reports are accurate and shared as per agreed timelines.

- Observe/Analyze MI Areas of improvement and suggest corrective action whenever applicable

- Ensure timely escalation of all delays/challenges and proactively look for resolution to minimize any negative impact

- Ensure that stakeholder expectations are met with highest level of professionalism and value led exceptional service

- Nil evidence of breaches towards the bank's policies & regulations like Data Protection and Privacy, Anti Money Laundering, Information Risk policy and regulatory requirements, process specific regulations.

- Abide by Group Compliance policy

- Clarity and proactive mode of communication and on time completion of deliverables

- Positive feedback from agreed business and functional stakeholders

STREAMLINE:

- Support & drive increasing operational efficiency and resilience of IWS across CCO as well as IWS wide direct and indirect cost.

- Place risk management culture at the centre of the IWS business, ensuring fair client outcomes and a resilient business.

- Ensure a consistent application of solutions across IWS entities, leveraging best practice, and there is an appropriate read-across to other entities when issues arise.

- Cross train with other regions within CCO team for optimal resource utilization

- Identify opportunities of cost save / Process reengineering which may include and not limited to:

- Lean ideas suggested / Implemented

- Six Sigma Projects

- Cost save initiatives undertaken

- Realized Cost save

- Realized considerable efficiency gain

- Non-Financial Risk Management

Major Challenges:

- IWS CCO Team needs to ensure processes implemented are robust, transparent, and fit for purpose will be crucial in enabling the success of the team.

- Continual development is required by the role holders in understanding of a complex global business and changing regulatory environment.

- Continual need to improve in-depth understanding of operational process/procedures and systems needed to support IWS complex product and service offering.

- Effective and strong global stakeholder management required across all levels within the business and functions.

- Proficient in multi-tasking and engage with different stakeholders both internally and externally

- Tight deadline management of own tasks and tasks within a project

- Steep but wide learning curve across a global complex business with a diverse product range.

Qualifications - External:

What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)

- Good understanding of operational risk and controls, preferably gained through experience in front line and risk roles (E)

- A good understanding of the Group's Operational Risk Framework (E)

- Risk Management Framework experience (E)

- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders

- Proven problem-solving skills with ability to consider alternative and lateral solutions

- Highly developed communication and influencing skills

- Independent and able to work under minimal supervision

- Ability to deal with complex problems and work under ambiguous conditions

- Ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure within a team environment

- Knowledge of the changing regulatory environment

- Detail-oriented and results-focused

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Skillset in digitalization, data analytics is an advantage

- Stakeholder Management ability to engage and build effective relationships with team and stakeholders (E)

- Strong communicator - able to express ideas via various communication channels (E)

- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse audiences (E)

- Ability to investigate items in detail / Meticulous attention to detail (E)
