This team manages the process to triage, fix, correct, and eliminate customer impact caused by a business process or operational break. Within this function, the data analytics team identifies and corrects impacted accounts via recalculating and crediting interest charges and/or fees.
- The person will analyse the problem, identify the impacted population, determine the financial impact, and create execution files to correct the accounts.
Responsibilities :
- Identifying impacted populations based on defined criteria, calculating often complex financial impact, recalculating interest charges over a period of months or years, recalculating total balances based on exclusion of specific charges, and determining if fees applied would not have otherwise been billed.
- Extensive interaction with business stakeholders and cross-functional groups.
- Develops and manages business plans and initiatives that support departmental/ organizational objectives. Works with management to develop strategy for function and position the firm for future success.
- Expected to make decisions which are tactical in nature and provide input to strategic decisions.
Skills Required:
- Expertise and practical work experience in SQL and SAS (Unix SAS preferred)
- Proficiency with standard MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Proficient in Tera Data database environments. Oracle environments a plus.
- In-depth understanding of writing and maintaining UNIX Scripts.
- Elevated proficiency in MS Excel
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be detailed and quality assurance oriented
- Be able to work multiple problems simultaneously
