Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead organizational and innovative technology projects to execute strategy and deliver results across all risk stripes

- Manage critical Risk-wide initiatives related to Enterprise Risk Reporting such as concentration risk, platform implementation, end-user computing reduction, and process/data controls

- Collaborate with risk and SME reporting leads across all stripes on initiatives, key reports, and presentations

- Realize opportunities to improve the timing, efficiency, and degree of automation for reporting deliverables

- Participate in and support various new/evolving requirements, including significant new regulatory demands

- Participate in initiatives to develop effective controls for data, data quality metrics and governance

- Manage, grow, and develop local team through day-to-day activities, recruiting, learning sessions, and other efforts

- Lead relevant forums and discussions to communicate and coordinate strategy across the local and broader groups

- Drive implementation of technology-dependent work through communication and partnership with Technology Teams

Target Qualifications:

- 6+ years of relevant experience in financial services or related industry.

- BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, finance or other analytically intensive discipline

- Understanding of technology systems, risk data, and automation

- Extensive knowledge of and experience with BI tools such as Tableau desired

- Demonstrated problem solving and project management abilities

- Excellent quantitative/analytical skills including understanding of core risk management concepts

- In-depth understanding of one or more risk types (e.g. Wholesale Credit, Market Risk, Consumer, Operational Risk, Interest Rate Risk as well as Risk Capital and Stress testing)

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including VBA

- Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills

- Capability to summarize and present information to senior management in a concise and insightful way

- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively in a high volume and complex environment with changing priorities
