- Drive sales across assets, liabilities, and other banking products, including Third Party Products (TPP).
- Monitor sales performance regularly against set targets, taking corrective action to minimize deviations.
- Ensure effective upselling and cross-selling to achieve branch targets.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and manage strong relationships with key customers, providing superior service and advising on investment and financial decisions.
- Strategize to reduce customer dormancy and attrition, fostering long-term client loyalty.
Business Development and Expansion:
- Identify opportunities to expand the branch's assets and liability portfolio, both qualitatively and quantitatively, within the branch's vicinity.
- Scout for avenues to develop new business prospects and execute marketing campaigns effectively.
Team Management and Support:
- Provide leadership and guidance to relationship managers and branch personnel, ensuring effective customer relationship management, sales, and compliance.
- Address customer queries and grievances escalated by branch staff promptly and efficiently.
Public Relations and Compliance:
- Manage public relations and liaise with local government authorities, RBI, and other banks for smooth branch operations and reporting.
- Support internal and external audit teams in conducting periodic branch audits and formulate action plans to address any deviations found.
Training and Development:
- Take overall responsibility for identifying training needs and ensuring completion of mandatory certifications for branch personnel.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance the team's capabilities and performance.
Performance Evaluation and Goal Setting:
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for branch personnel, providing constructive feedback and setting clear goals aligned with organizational objectives.
- Develop performance improvement plans and recognition programs to motivate and incentivize team members.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to define long-term objectives and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
- Implement strategies to adapt to market dynamics, capitalize on emerging opportunities, and mitigate potential risks.
Budgeting and Expense Management:
- Collaborate with the management team to develop annual budgets and expense forecasts for the branch.
- Monitor expenses closely, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize profitability.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders, including senior management, other departments, and regional teams.
- Represent the branch in meetings, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility and strengthen relationships with external partners and industry stakeholders.
