Position : AVP - LENDING OPERATIONS
Client is a Captive of a Global Bank - provides Technology, Operations and Functions services to businesses and customers globally.
MUST HAVES :

- Good knowledge on Payments, Reconciliation, ACBS, LIQ, Lending operations and Facility Agreements
- Good influencing and negotiation skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have 10+ yrs of work experience in banking domain (Lending Ops, process management, team management, stakeholder management)
- Will be handling a team of 35 +, So team management is mandatory
- Can look at relocation candidates
- Role involves a very high degree of engagement with multiple stakeholders, business partners, across different business functions and groups while building and maintaining relationships with Leaders and their teams
- Support continuous improvement of the operational process and the development of Best Practice.
- Suggesting ideas to improve systems and processes where necessary and evaluate the benefits and risks of such proposals
- Ensuring all activities & duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements,
- Enterprise wide risk management framework & internal policies
What will you be doing?
- Ensure seamless migration from ACBS to LIQ
- Ensure that key KPI metrics and KRI's metrics are on track
- Manage the urgent requests/Escalations from the RD's and RSM- s
- Act as SME- Proactively contribute to team performance through maintaining a flexible approach to tasks, providing input to continuous improvement and being receptive to change support Audit activities, external controls & checks using comprehensive knowledge of Lending processes, products and activities
- Ensure the team is fully trained in control awareness and assign control responsibilities accordingly
- Ensure all remedial actions resulting from risk incidents mitigate the risk identified, dates are agreed in line with the risk involved and there is early escalation to OR&C of any items requiring extended deadlines
- Look to continuously improve the control environment, user experience and automation
- Actively refer to process and procedures written to aid training and Best Practice
- Demonstrate pro- active approach to risk by ensuring all risk (actual and potential) is remedied upon identification.
What we're looking for :
- Preferably a qualified MBA with minimum 10 years of experience
- Strong control awareness
- Confident and assertive manner
- Complaints management experience
- Experience dealing with senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of quality assurance, control and monitoring
- Project management experience (Prince2 qualifications desirable)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excel & Microsoft word
