Role Summary/Purpose : Reporting to AVP Model Risk Management, the AVP Fair Lending Analysis will be dedicated to Fair Lending Analysis. The role is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Fair Lending Disparate Impact Testing Framework. This involves generating and/or providing 2nd line oversight of data needed to execute Disparate Impact Testing on models and coordinating activities with third party supplier who conducts disparate impact testing to assess the potential impact of neutral rules on protected classes. "This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, training and culture events. Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation of the Fair Lending Disparate Impact Testing Framework by generating data and/or providing 2nd line oversight of data needed to execute Disparate Impact Testing on models

- Coordinate activities with third party supplier who conducts disparate impact testing to assess the potential impact of neutral rules on protected classes; Ensure compliance with Information Security requirements applicable to the transfer of data

- Extract and manipulate large datasets from data warehouses to prepare for modeling samples, using SQL, SAS, Python, Spark and other tools

- Maintain and enhance the centralized variable repository leveraged by Fair Lending

- Generate and/or challenge analysis provided in Business Justifications created to support the use of a neutral rule

- Keep pace with the latest developments in risk modeling, data science, machine learning and regulatory environment in order to provide expert guidance to the business functions

- As a subject matter expert, provide guidance to business on the Fair Lending-related regulations by keeping abreast of developing trends and changes in regulations relating to Fair Lending

- Perform on special projects as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements:

- Master's / Bachelor's Degree with quantitative underpinning (i.e., Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or, Engineering) with 5+ years' overall analytics experience or in lieu of a degree, 7 years of overall analytics experience

- 4+ years of experience in fair lending analysis, compliance analytics, model risk management, credit, and/or risk management.

- 3+ year experience with SAS, SQL, Python or other data science programming languages.

- Strong project management and execution skills, with attention to details

- Excellent written/verbal communication, problem solving, and inter-personal skills, with flexibility to adapt to matrix organization structure and virtual environment.

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Working hours: 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm IST.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience with machine learning modeling

- Experience with the application of regulatory requirements for Fair Lending (ECOA) and/or Model Risk (e.g. SR 11-7/OCC 2011-12)

- Understanding of credit scoring models; understanding of credit bureau, master file, and transaction data
