AVP - Legal & Finance - IT

Skills / Education Needed: -

- Basic understanding of Web3 / DeFi (Penchant for Digital Trade & Technology should be there)

- 2+ years of professional legal & Crypto accounting experience (some bit in Web3 too), preferably with in-house experience at a high-growth tech company, setting up of companies in jurisdictions such as Cayman Islands etc. If say you have 1 year experience but willing to learn, we should be able to consider you.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong track record of cross-functional partnership across teams (legal, compliance, finance) to align on creative solutions in Crypto world

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills A get-it-done, flexible attitude with a willingness to pivot quickly and frequently. Strong analytical thinking & coordination skills. OFF Legal Counsel Team will be appointed, your job will be to work alongside them to get things done.

- Need to understand UAE or entire Middle East market along side India. You should be able to pick legal & finance of new geographies too e.g: South East Asia, Cayman Islands

- Demonstrated professional interest in crypto / stable coin / Metaverse / Web3 domain

- Intrinsically motivated to learn about crypto/web3 Intellectually curious Interest in frontier technologies

- Should be keen to join the future of World Lending (Blockchain rails where Trade will eventually move). Ready to be part of a DApp Buildup from scratch, setting rules of the Industry by virtue of being an early entrant in this future of Internet Lending

Job Profile:

- Grapple and solve problems that require understanding local laws/regulations and finding paths to compliance with broader stakeholder teams (e.g., business/product/tech) - UAE + South East Asia etc (There will be a team of OFF Legal Counsel with whom you will coordinate for this)

- You will lead the offshore company / SPV registrations & related matters along with Law Firms across the world

- Since we are a startup for time being Legal & Finance roles are merged and we will be piloting our solution in December 2022 / Feb 2023. You will manage and control all accounting operations in a multi-currency, multi-entity global business (Currently under incorporation)

- You will lead the Group's end to end financial close and reporting process by coordinating with Virtual CFO employees by us. All Investor related queries to be handled by you including our Funds raises.

- Tokenomics Release from Finance / Legal perspective to be co-ordinated by you with Virtual CFO & OFF Legal Counsel Team.

- You will provide guidance on a wide range of tax issues to the team by coordinating with Virtual CFO

- It's a startup, be ready to adapt / hustle / be a jack of all trades (Some other ancillary work) & master of one - credit analysis (not none)

- Saturdays are typically holidays unless Urgent Legal - Investor Matter / Quarter Ends - Legal Filings etc / Project Launch (Mon - Friday working).
