Job Description - The job essentially involves:

- Preparing quarterly and year-end US GAAP, IFRS and SWISS GAAP Financial Statements using PeopleSoft.

- Populating the monthly, quarterly and yearly disclosures, including explanation of significant balance moves for all the GAAPs

- Taking ownership of key controls supporting the General Ledger

- Managing the SOX process.

- Understanding the legal entity architecture

- Reviewing of New Business transactions and the setting of new business ‘conditions' to the upstream owners including front office, operations and product control

- Managing junior staff including setting yearly objectives and performing semi annual appraisals

- Managing ad-hoc projects along with managing new project implementation and documenting

- Liaising with product control, auditors and Tax department on an ad-hoc basis

- Co-ordinating requests for financial information and consolidating data into the management reporting packs

The Successful Candidate - You will be a Chartered Accountant with no less than 4 (Up to 6) Years of post-qualification experience in the LEC space. You will have extensive knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS and prior experience of using PeopleSoft. You will have the ability to communicate effectively and you will be a skilled multi-tasker. You will display the ability to learn quickly and prioritize work effectively. Additionally, you will have the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
