AVP - Legal & Compliance - BFSI

- Providing legal advice and support to departments within the depository and to the stakeholders.

- Interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies relevant to depository operations.

- Assessing the need for amendments to regulatory documents including byelaws and evaluating the same.

- Review agreements and other documents like Terms & Conditions from legal perspective.

- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements affecting the depository.

- Handling of litigation matters including strategizing replies with external counsels appointed, decision making and appearing before various fora

- Ensuring timely filing of reply, closure of cases and co-ordination with counsels for seamless management of cases
