India has been growing as the centre of excellence for key IB functions and in order to accentuate the growth within the business, the client is looking at seasoned finance professional to be a part of the Ledger Control function in Gurgaon.
Job Description - Reporting to the VP - Ledger Controller, the key responsibility would be to maintain balance sheet control. Additionally, your responsibilities would include:
- Monitoring ledger performance through clear & informative metrics
- Ensuring, managing & promoting data quality & control throughout group finance
- Identifying areas of risk & process improvement
- Implementing & maintaining, adherence to SOX & company policies
- Keeping firm's books & records in order & handling escalations
- Developing, managing & mentoring the team to meet business requirements & deliver excellence
The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified CA with 8 - 10 years of experience in G/L account reconciliation & signing off balance sheet substantiation OR handled trade reconciliation. A strong knowledge in basic accounting & investment banking products along with team management experience is a MUST. Although you will be managing a team you would be expected to have hands on experience in the same.
