AVP - IT Project Manager - MNC bank Mumbai

What will you be doing?

- Gathering business requirements in partnership with Research Analysts, Research Production and Research IT

- Creating and executing user acceptance test plans based on the documented business requirements and reporting deviations from the expected behaviour

- Monitoring project progress by tracking activity; identifying issues and recommending mitigation strategies

- Performing post-implementation validation following releases to ensure that the delivered functionality matches expectations

- You will be responsible for authoring and maintaining user and project documentation; providing user support and training

What we're looking for:

- Relevant experience of implementing publishing and/or content management platforms

- Extensive experience of analysing business requirements and converting them to user stories that can be passed to the technology teams for testing

- Extensive experience in testing applications to ensure that the functionality matches the business requirements

- Proficiency in successfully integrating new applications, including user training and coaching

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Knowledge of Financial Research as a business

- Experience with implementing publishing systems based on Quark, Eidos or BlueMatrix

- Proficiency in working in an agile development environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence

- Understanding of metadata and information architecture design

- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the confidence and ability to represent views and opinions effectively
