Job Description

You will be handling the Internal audit function for the India entity which entitles Operations audit, Sales audit,Financial audit and IT audit. Key Accountabilities include:

- Generating the company’s overall internal controls

- Planning, executing and completing audit fieldwork according to established schedule

- Recommending internal control improvements that may include operational enhancements or efficiencies

- Preparing audit reports as well as documenting controls

- Building and managing an effective IQ regional team, which is able to conduct annual risk assessment, deliver annual audit plan etc

- Developing a thorough understanding and knowledge base of company’s operations

- Establishing effective business relationships within the company and assist management in the understanding and adaptation of internal control principles

- Being a team player and embracing the company’s compliance principles as a key component of audit process

- Executing an efficient and effective audit approach as defined by internal audit management

- Ensuring that all assigned work is completed according to schedule and within the established budget parameters

- Participating in the development of audit procedures and preparing notes for audit report

The Successful Applicant

You will be a qualified CA and CISA with 12-15 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including some experience of working in a leadership role within the internal audit function of a BFSI firm. You will have a broad audit experience and the ability to interact with management at all levels along with excellent communication skills as well as strong knowledge of audit techniques.
