AVP - Internal Audit - Banking Operations

About Our Client :

Our client is a MNC Bank with operations across Retail, Corporate and Investment Banking. With their offshore setup growing year on year a requirement has arisen for a Senior Internal Audit professional to join their setup in Delhi NCR.

Job Description :

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit (India), your key responsibilities would include:

- Create and justify an audit plan for the entire banking operations portfolio across India and other countries

- Lead and monitor the delivery of the audit

- Provide audit opinion for own area of responsibility Build a highly engaged and motivated audit function

- Develop team using coaching and feedback (create specific individual and team objectives to build skills and knowledge)

- Reward and recognize good performance across the cluster

- Monitor skills and define and execute a recruitment strategy for the team

- Contribute to continuous improvement by prioritizing projects, allocating resource, reviewing business improvement projects and taking opportunities to add value

- Respond to ad-hoc management requests Develop, maintain and share specialist Audit knowledge

The Successful Applicant:

- You must be a CA/MBA with 10+ years of post qualification experience in a Retail Bank or a Big 4 setup

- Excellent exposure conducting internal audit for diverse retail banking operations is a must

- Strong audit experience across diverse banking operations like mortgages, loans, savings products, credit cards, investment products, cash, trade, etc is mandatory

- You will have prior experience of handling group-wide audit and be adept at developing and leveraging senior internal and external relationships

- You will have excellent communication; coupled the ability to use this to train the team, pitch to external and internal stake-holders and comment on crucial audit findings
