With a Leading Broking/Equity Company we are having a Vacancy for
Associate Vice President - Institutional Sales position.
Job Description:
Key Objective of the Job:
- Responsible for achieving aggressive annual business targets for the institutional business
Major Deliverables:
- To be ideas driven and generate revenue & commission targets in order to achieve aggressive business targets.
- To work almost independently to build a healthy new customer base and acquire new empanelments.
- To maximize and leverage existing Institutional clients
- To be a one stop shop for Institutions, Corporations, and Governments for their investing and trading strategies by providing cutting edge and out of box market and trading information, perspective and guidance.
- To actively monitor the portfolio of the clients and to advise necessary changes in line with recommendations from research.
- To work with and provide the Research team inputs as the Institutional ear to the ground.
- To provide information and guidance to the Sales team on equity markets, individual companies and industries such that they are able to play a differentiating role in the Industry.
- Proactively updating and coordinating with the Sales and Research Team and ensuring that they are updated on the market behavior on a daily basis.
- Understanding and providing insights to the events that have occurred globally and its impact in the Indian market and more specifically our Clients portfolios.
- Constantly benchmarking with competition and working with internal stakeholders to identify and bridge gaps in the current system to ensure efficient and robust processes.
Specialized job competencies:
- Excellent communication and selling skills of financial ideas and market updates to institutional clients.
- Strong relationships that can be leveraged with key financial advisors.
- Strong relationship with key senior management/decision makers in Institutions/Corporations/Government.
- Unique and in depth understanding of financial markets.
- High energy levels and closure driven.
- Ability to interpret research insights and communicate the same effectively to clients in a way that they see a clear thought value addition.
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide appropriate and customized products and services
Educational Qualifications:
- CA/MBA with a technical qualification would be preferred
Desired Experience:
- 6- 8 years experience in a similar organization
Other desired attributes:
- Ability to interpret research insights and communicate the same effectively to clients in a way that they see a clear thought value addition
- Ability to understand client requirements and provide appropriate and customized products and services
