Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or any other quantitative discipline

- At least 8 years of experience of working in Analytics for BFSI domain. Prior experience of Operations Analytics/ Collections Analytics/ Risk Analytics domain would be strongly preferred.

- Knowledge of Compliance concepts like AML/OFAC, Client screening, FCPA etc will be preferred

- Prior exposure to major vendors in AML space like Norkom, Detica, Actimize etc

- Experience of Big data handling and exposure to tools/languages like SAS/Oracle/SQL is required.

- Established competency in building and streamlining processes around multi-sourced data

- Proven presentation skills; Should be highly skilled in communicating complex ideas.

- Strong visualization skills and ability to churn out data insights

- Solid track record of managing highly skilled teams working on variety of analytical solutions

- Strong lateral leadership skills

- Should be adept in using MS Office.

The incumbent for this role is expected to

- Lead the effort to build and maintain a robust and comprehensive data environment to support all potential compliance analytics activities across the organization

- Collaborate with business partners to address potential opportunities and needs for structured information; Understand Business needs and address them through custom designed information packages

- Partner with stakeholders from Businesses and Regions to identify new opportunities and deliver results; Generate Business Partner confidence and work on obtaining further investment from business

- Identify potential challenges/constraints in the internal processes and implement appropriate control

- Implement and execute a transparent communication model with business

- Adhere to all process level SLAs and review them with business on a regular interval

- Generate Business Intelligence through efficient leverage of Big Data

- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls

- Develop a team of motivated and high performing analytics professionals that deliver innovative cutting-edge solutions while providing regular support on existing projects
