About Our Client

Our Client is a leading financial services company and offers various financial products in commercial and consumer lending. They are looking for a senior tax professional in their Gurgaon team.

Job Description

Reporting into the Tax Controller Lead your key responsibilities would include:

- Lead compliance of indirect tax laws.

- Track and monitor compliance of filing requirements for Service tax, VAT etc.

- Drive synergy on tax and standardize related processes

- Ensure that appropriate Internal Controls in place, in line with local statutory laws and GAAPs.

- Own all process linked to indirect tax accounting, reporting and compliance.

- Support in Statutory and tax audits.

- Work with cross functional teams to effectively structure business transactions and optimize tax efficiencies

The Successful Applicant

- You would be a CA with 5-8 years post qualification years of experience. You must be from a Financial Services sector with an Indirect tax back ground. Ideally you must be from a BIG 4 or alternatively from financial services background.
