AVP - HR Business Partner - Banking/Insurance

- The HR Partner in the country acts as the local interface between HR and the business, a relationship manager and a change agent

- As a key part of the HR team the incumbent will work across the business disciplines to lead and influence change at a strategic level across the business and orchestrate end to end HR delivery for the assigned business unit.

- This position covers strategic HR topics, business partnering with leaders and employees on all levels, recruitment and operational support.

- The incumbent is expected to build strong partnerships with business leaders at a functional and geographic level, while remaining an objective and independent advisor.

- The HR Partner runs a number of activities including but no tlimited to : salary review, performance management, talent management, and succession planning, restructuring, complex case management and calibration activities. They willalso lead on candidate selection activities for more senior

- Contributing to and supporting the delivery of the HR strategy in line with business objectives

- Driving the embedding and implementation of the Human Capital Strategy in the country recognising local needs.

- Delivering pragmatic solutions which help business achieve their strategy while being compliant with the company's philosophy and local legal requirements

- Guiding and coaching managers on people management and employee relations matters in line with company policies and best practices

- Acting in a multi-cultural environment, guiding local leaders as well as global leaders on local matters

- Devising and implementing people practices to attract, engage and develop talent in the organization

- Driving and delivering HR initiatives to support business in areas suchas talent development, employee engagement, performance management, organizational change and management development.

- Providing consultancy (in cooperation with COEs) in the area of compensation and benefits
