This operations leader in this role will be responsible for oversight and governance of FX processes for corporate and institutional clients during EMEA and AMRS hours and will be reporting to Head of FX Operations India with reporting for this role will be matrix with functional and site responsibilities assigned. FX operations team in India spread across Gurgaon and Hyderabad responsible for FX Confirmations and Settlements processes by working in partnership with global process teams and new leader will be managing the responsibility as Gurugram Site Lead for FX operations team.
She/he will be a key member of the FX Operations India Leadership team and will be representing FX India operations team on various FX Global forums. The leader will be providing oversight and governance for FX Corporate and Institutional processes that typically have a high level of client servicing, monetary exposure, regulatory risk and reputational /financial loss due to transaction nature, which can impact client relationships.
- The candidate needs to have a strong FX domain knowledge with adequate experience in FX Confirmations and settlements processes
- Ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders globally
- The candidate needs to build and strengthen key client /sales relationship which is essential requirement of the FX corporate and institutional processes.
- Drives operations excellence by suggesting and implementing process improvements, industry initiatives impacting confirmations and settlements and working on various STP initiatives.
- Ensure that the process transactions are processed as per procedures,, the quality of the transactions is in compliance with predefined parameters
- Ensure that the targets are assigned in accordance with the SLAs are met
- Ensure that the quality of the transactions is in compliance with predefined parameters
- Ability to manage/lead the project /initiative across global teams by using the project management, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills are required with the ability to prioritize daily workload, work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Responsible for clearing of items on the daily exception reports, clearly escalate the exceptions /issues to local and onshore management teams.
- Ability to manage, understand and mitigate the process /operational risk, the candidate will be expected to understand and challenge team procedures to continually improve and build better controls and processes.
