About our Client - Our client is a leading global investment bank, in the business of securities and investment management. They provide a wide range of services to a varied group of corporations, financial institutions, governments and HNIs. Headquartered in New York, our client maintains offices in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Mumbai and other major financial centers around the world. They are currently looking to grow their Bangalore business, and for the same they are looking for a driven and capable individual to take on the mantle of AVP - Fund Control.

Job Description - The job involves:

- Controlling the investment management division by ensuring compliance with firm's policies and regulations that govern global financial markets

- Reviewing monthly NAV for mutual funds, hedge funds/ private equity funds

- Reviewing year end financial statements and performing related activities

- Managing the investment cash process for PE funds and performing review

- Handling reporting requirements to Senior Management

- Working closely with other divisions, while also liaising with fund administrators and auditors

- Leading a team of qualified professionals

The Successful Candidate - You will be a qualified CA or MBA with experience of private funds' market and process management. With this prior relevant work Experience of 4-6 years, you will possess basic knowledge of financial statements preparation & review; USGAAP and IFRS. Experience in co-ordinating with Big 4 accounting firms during audit cycle is a definite plus. You will additionally have strong accounting knowledge of financial products like Interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, currency options etc. You will have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be able to thrive and work in a team environment, while handling multiple tasks and prioritizing them accordingly. You will have excellent interpersonal, client relationship and communication skills. Knowledge of MS Office is a requisite as well.
