Requirements:
Education:
- Any PG preferably an MBA or Excellent graduate level education
- 13+ years with a minimum of 8 years in Capital Markets/ Investment banking industry
- Front to Back of Global Securities
- Large scale project and program management
Mandatory skills:
- BFSI Industry Experience
- Successful track record in the capital markets industry, a specialist financial services consultancy
- Good appreciation of current market trends in Capital Markets
- Good (in depth at Manager Level) understanding of one or more capital markets product areas (including OTC and exchange traded / listed derivatives, equity and fixed income securities, repo / stock lending, commodities and FX)
- Ability to develop and deliver high quality output against stated project objectives and meet tight deadlines
- Process Improvement - Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Business Process Management (BPM), Workflow, Exception Processing, Process Control Review and Design, Six Sigma, Lean, Process Modeling, Process Metrics
- Business Requirements Definition - Functional Requirements Definition, Use Case Definition, Business Analysis
Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with markets products ideally in more than one asset class. Experience / working knowledge of Equity products in capital markets is required
- Proven track to Execute and Deliver
- Risk and internal controls experience
- Manage teams across time zones and regions - APAC / EMEA / AMRS
- Ability to cope with delivery within very tight deadlines under high pressure.
- Ability to manage large teams and work with across teams/locations to accomplish goals in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of interpersonal, leadership, and communication (both written and oral) skills
- Build out management information suite to track progress of role objectives
- Demonstrable ability to cultivate and nurture credibility-based relationships with stakeholders and partners across all levels and functional areas
- Escalation of critical risks & non-compliance with policies, standards, and limits
- Assessment of high risk processes, issues and emerging risks
- Strong analytic, logical reasoning, and problem solving, risk vs. reward skills
