About our Client - Our client is a Leading Financial Services firm with a diverse product offering. India has been identified as a key center for them and are now looking to strengthen their team with an AVP - Financial Reporting (USGAAP / IFRS) based out of Delhi NCR.

Job Description - Reporting to the Head of Finance, your responsibilities include:

- Reviewing the disclosures produced by the Corporate Reporting Team

- Ensuring that reporting is compliant with IFRS and Group reporting requirements

- Reviewing quarterly reporting package prior to internal submission for consolidated reporting purposes

- Dealing with ad hoc queries from management, analysts, internal finance management reviews, and auditors

- Ad hoc projects, such as reporting and process reviews and systems development

- Participating at the periodic letter of representation meeting for Corporate Legal Entity Reporting

- Engaging with other finance areas, e.g. Financial Planning and Analysis, MIS, Financial Control and Product Control to ensure delivery of the above points

The Successful Candidate - You are a Chartered Accountant with 7+ years experience accounting and statutory reporting in an investment bank. Good working knowledge of IFRS and strong interpersonal and team-working skills and the ability to communicate at all levels are a must. You should also have the ability to work in a pressured environment and cope with the demands of working to tight deadlines.
