Role Description Quality Assurance FinRep

To cope with the detailed FinRep information requirements, a new system solution and processes will be set-up aligning information from the Group’s Financial and Risk Reporting as well as additional data sources. The quality assurance resource will be involved in the establishment and ensuring a control framework that defines data quality validation & controls around the data and execute quality assurance tasks.

Tasks / Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the establishment of a control framework that defines data quality validation & controls

- Key responsibility is the execution of data quality validation & controls of information from different sources in a timely, accurate and consistent format/manner

- Review the reconciliation results, coordination of the resolution of material breaks with locations

- Check of immaterial breaks and automated apportioning of immaterial breaks on detailed level for IFRS and FinRep/regulatory consolidation scope

- Influence and escalate key issues in an effective way to ensure timely resolution

- Monitor and track issues identified as part of the variance analysis and address/initiate improvements where appropriate

- Provide consolidated information on results of the quality assurance performed to onshore

- Prepare ad-hoc requests quickly but also be able to prioritise , ensuring these are agreed with the onshore counterpart

- Ensure that all processes are correctly and thoroughly documented (KOPs etc.) and have been agreed and aligned with onshore

- Ensure operational efficiency and high productivity: continuous review of processes with the objective of improving the service delivery timeframes and identify areas of improvement, drive changes

- Establish and maintain effective relationship with onshore stakeholders and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular calls and feedback mechanism

- User Acceptance testing for newly developed functionalities

Essential Experience/ Skills

- Higher qualification in a quantitative discipline such as Applied Mathematics, Finance etc. or equivalent professional qualifications

- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness, be focused and able to explain results, escalate issues where needed

- Experience in working in an environment with a strong customer focus, with experience of proactively working with demanding customers in a flexible manner

- Experience of delivering results in a fast moving, dynamic environment with proven ability to adapt and be responsive to changing stakeholder requirements

- Knowledge of the Group’s financial and risk systems as well as reporting systems an advantage

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work with both detailed and summary level data in order to identify, understand and resolve key issues

- Strives to gain business and product understanding to provide insight and value added analysis

- Independent, structured and efficient working style

- Result focus. Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines

- Ability to work efficiently as part of a wider team across varying disciplines with the ability to form long-term influential relationships

- High degree of autonomy and self-motivation
