AVP - Financial Planning & Analysis - Investment Banking Captive

Responsibilities-

1. Assists the CFO in the preparation and management of the College's long range financial projections; designs and implements the long range financial process.

2. Provides research, analysis, and modeling in support of information-based decision making to ensure alignment of the long range financial plan with the Academic, Facilities, and Information Technology plans.

3. Develops analyses, forecasts and reports to model the projected long term effects of key College decisions regarding enrollments, tuition and financial aid, study abroad programs, salaries and benefits, allocation of staff and faculty, and divisional strategic plans.

4. Provides leadership and training to the campus community regarding long range budget policies, practices and procedures as well as recommending and implementing improvements.

5. Develops the Annual Operating Budget and variance reports.

6. Serves as a resource and strategic partner for the CFO and Administration to help implement the vision and goals identified as part of the Capital campaign and capital budget.

7. Develops a long range capital budget aligned with key college strategic initiatives outlining plans, funding sources and annual cash flows.

8. Works collaboratively with the CFO, Controller, Executive Vice President and other key members of the College Senior Staff to establish and monitor financial performance indicators key to the financial and operational long term goals.

9. Other duties will include monitoring property and insurance coverages and premiums, leasing arrangements, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this position will be have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with Master's degree and Certified Public Accountant preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of five to ten years of progressive related experience (preferably in a college or not for profit) which includes at least three years in managerial positions. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
