AVP - Financial Planning & Analysis - BPO/KPO

Role - AVP - FP&A

Location - Mumbai

The incumbent in this role will be responsible for managing the India entity financial planning & budgeting, monitoring budget, Conceptualizing & operationalizing various analytical reports for decision support, Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles. He/she will provide critical financial insight and strategic support to the Management Team as the organization continues to grow and evolve.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

- Leading a team of Business Analysts, coaching and development for respective delivery roles

- Interfacing with senior business leaders, gathering requirements and defining project road map

- Presenting written recommendations and insights to stakeholders that will help shape effective strategies.

- Learning and understanding a broad range of data resources and know how, when, and which to use continually improving ongoing reporting and analysis, automating or simplifying the processes

- Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company's portfolio of businesses

- Financial analysis enabling the business to improve Topline and Bottomline of Business unit.

- Performing analytical review of Monthly financial operations giving highlights of projects & SBU/BU KPI's.

- Lead the strategic aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process for the company

- Interpreting financial data for determining past financial performance & projecting the financial probability of companies and ensuring that the financial information is presented clearly, consistently and on time.

- Investigating and understanding key business issues behind the numbers and providing clear, concise and timely analysis & recommendations.

- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast process, providing strategic financial leadership to the business

- Assist in defining and consolidating requirements across internal teams to ensure metrics and KPI's provide visibility into the key drivers of the business and enable effective management, decision-making and execution

- Perform adhoc reporting and analysis as required to support the business and its leaders

- Assist in designing the Business Metrics Pack.

- Automate tasks / reports that are manual to reduce cycle time and defects.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections

- Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, rolling budgets and product-line profitability analysis.

- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects

- Superior written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills required for relationship building particularly as it relates to professional peers. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within strict time frames as well as simultaneously manage several projects. Facilitate and participate in group meetings.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE :

- Bachelor's degree with an MBA strongly preferred/ Bachelor's degree with a C.A qualification preferred

- 10+ Years of overall experience.

- FP&A experience of 7+ years

- Team Handling experience
