Summary:

- Provide day to day management of the FBM support team and perform support to onshore FDM's with matters related to operational analytics and business strategy

Responsibilities / Tasks:

- Managing the SLA and KPI of all the deliverables falling under this area

- Client relationship Management

- Understand client requirements and drive self and team to meet the requirements

- Support team in delivery of financial and non-financial tasks. Leverage the team capability in delivering these tasks

- Build effective relationship with senior management, senior management staff of GT onshore and the team to develop processes that improve on - as is- activities and create value

- Prepare management updates on key projects, controls, ongoing operational initiatives, financials and related business management activities.

- Active involvement in bottom ups planning, forecasting and drawing commentaries on MoM variance analysis around Actual vs Plan for senior management review.

- Assist in Financial and other strategic analysis for senior management

- Supporting cost allocation enquiries from business units, supervising production of monthly cost allocations

- Respond to ad hoc/ one off information requests in a timely manner

- Support Risk & Control initiatives and facilitate ongoing monitoring

- Keep all operational guidelines updated and ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify plan to mitigate risks where-ever there is a control issue.

- Centralisation & Standardisation of various financial and support activities for better control over processes being followed in bank.

- Develop relationship and credibility with all internal stakeholders

- Work closely with onshore business managers on upcoming projects, assignments and initiatives.

- Contribute to - Continuous Improvement- Initiatives

- Overview and ensure smooth month end closing and related reporting

- Improve financial control activities around allocations, spend governance, cost bookings etc

- Provide leadership to the FBM support team for day to day management and escalations

- Work with regional analytics organization to provide cohesive, standard approach for FBM

Experience / Exposure:

- MBA in Finance or a Chartered Accountant or any equivalent qualification with 8-14 years of relevant work experience

- More than 6+ years of work experience in FP&A - strong knowledge of accounting and planning concepts. Knowledge of Clarity, DB datacore, SAP, COGNOS, Essbase, Hyperion is an added advantage

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Excel, Word, Power-point (preferred)

- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under time constraints and handle pressure

- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation & service commitment

- Ability to effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet strict deadlines & handle pressure

- Demonstrate commitment to continuous process improvement

- Ability to undertake initiatives

- Provide effective decision making capability and leadership qualities.

Education / Certification:

- Bachelor degree in Commerce / Accounting Masters Degree in Finance/ Chartered Accountant with experience in Budgeting; MIS; Reporting etc.

- Professional qualification preferable
