About our Client - Our client is a subsidiary of one of India's biggest and most respected private sector Banks in India. It is a leading stock broking company having completed over 15 years in operations serving a diverse customer base of retail and institutional investors.
Job Description - Reporting to the CFO, you responsibilities would include:
- Reporting of Monthly Financials i.e. P & L, Cash flows, Balance Sheet, Ratios, performance reports etc.
- Process for monthly provisioning & accruals.
- Ensuring accurate & timely reporting of other Financial MIS.
- Devising budget templates, preparation of budgets in co-ordination various business divisions
- Review & Analysis of Budgets for Cost Control, devising processes to control unbudgeted expenses.
- Budgets Vs Actuals Reporting with a focus on:
a) Expenses control & providing early alerts for expense overrun b) variance analysis. c) Need for revision etc
- Preparation of business plans, review of financial feasibility (IRR, ROE, EVA etc) and parameters for new businesses/ initiatives in coordination with various businesses & CFO. Banking & Treasury:
The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 8 years of experience. You should have experience in Finalization of Accounts & good knowledge of Accounting Standards / consolidation process will be an added advantage. Experience in tax planning, handling income tax assessment etc. will be an added advantage. In addition to this good excel skills is a must.
