AVP - Financial Controller - Investment Bank - CA

Client : Leading Investment Bank

Work Location : Bangalore

Experience:

1) 7+ years Financial Control/Product control experience in Investment Banking, preferably equities.

2) Strong understanding of financial market products such as Credit Derivatives, Cash Equity, Swaps, Options and Futures.

3) Strong communication and people management skills

4) Strong knowledge / experience of front to back Investment Banking environment

Qualification: Only CA

Duties & Responsibilities

1) Ensure daily reconciliation production with appropriate resolution and MI for the GM trading business, across NY, Lon and HK.

2) Prepare and review monthly balance sheet, with substantiation and potential financial exposure.

3) Understanding of the front to back process in a trading environment.

4) Responsible for the performance and associated risks for all activities preformed within the service delivery group ensuring at a minimum all SLAs are met.

5) Lead, motivate and manage a team of app 20+ people. Responsible for recruitment, training and development, talent management, staff performance reviews and compensations.
