Job Description - The team has end to end responsibility for the financial and regulatory reporting within the entities, and as the AVP you will be primarily responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial statements. Besides this you will be responsible for:

- Reporting of financial, regulatory and management information

- Ensuring that financial statements are prepared in compliance with US-GAAP/IFRS

- Reviewing financial statements to provide information/ commentary as requested

- Ensuring reconciliation of the month end balances of all accounts

- Reviewing performance of Sarbanes-Oxley related tasks and preparation of SOX documentation

- Preparing Ad-hoc reports

- Supervising all projects in the Financial Accounting space

- Managing a team of accountants

- Handling Performance management and review

- Over-seeing the training of team members

The Successful Candidate - You will be a Qualified Accountant, with a relevant university degree (accounts/ finance related) and 7+ years of experience in a Financial Controls role. You will have experience in preparation of financial statements, while working in an IB background. You will have had extensive, prior team leading experience as well as exposure to global communication. You will be a proficient Excel user, with sound conceptual accounting skills, communication skills and presentation skills. You will display the ability to work well under pressure along with the flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Working knowledge of IFRS/USGAAP accounting standards is a must.
