AVP - Finance - US GAAP Accounting - Real Estate

Role : - AVP ( Finance) - US GAAP Accounting

Location : Bangalore / Pune

Job Summary:

- Key point of contact on US GAAP Real Estate lease accounting

- Responsible for review of Financial analysis used as to support Real Estate business cases

- Responsible for ensuring that the contractual terms in Real estate lease contracts are reflected in the US GAAP financial accounts

- Responsible for ensuring lease term assessment is GAAP compliant

- Review and submission of all abandonment templates prior to going for Global review.

- Review all US GAAP templates including dilapidations, sub losses, straight lining, and lease obligations.

- Proactively communicate with and work with the Corporate Real Estate group/Global Controllership and US GAAP team on all aspects of Real estate accounting including ad-hoc Real Estate projects

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for ensuring that all Real Estate leases are accounted for in line with Organisation policy and with US GAAP.

- Responsible for supervision of team of 4.

- Build effective working relationship with local and global leads

- Monitor processes with a view for process improvement

- Participate in-ad hoc Real Estate projects as needed.

Number of Years Work Experience: 8 + years- experience in a Finance function

Reports To: Vice President - Finance
