Job Description
- Manage operations BAU for a team size of 70 plus across multiple locations
- Provide strategic direction and manage Business Partner relationships.
- Ensure high quality of output is delivered e.g. financial data in the reports etc is accurately and correctly presented
- Driving change and strategic initiatives
- Lead migrations & remigrations
- Drive process improvement opportunities across BAU processes.
- Link activities end to end and work to expanding landscape of operations
- Think and drive structural changes
- Willingness to extensively travel between bank locations
People skills
- Proficient professional in supervisory role. Has experience of leading teams of 50 plus people
- Responsible for leading & motivating multiple teams/processes, with accountability on all Business Service Delivery parameters
Analytical review / problem solving skills
- Proficient analytical review skills; ability to add value to customer deliverables through understanding of the business / lateral thinking
- Pre-empt issues or concerns and flag these off to business partner in a timely manner.
- Ability to manage trouble shooting/ secondary reviews and understand all queries raised by business partner and determine escalation as necessary
Change management
- Should have consistently demonstrated ability of driving results
Accounting skills
- Past functional experience in Reconciliations: GL, Inter-company and in depth knowledge and understanding of Business Planning process.
- Knowledge of Inter-Company Operating Plan, Billing and Invoicing process will be added advantage
Customer management skills
- Ability and experience of managing customer relationships/ service delivery; single point of contact at an entity level
- Experience of interfacing with external auditors. Experience of interacting with regulators preferred.
Prior FS experience (preferred)
- Experience of 3 years in the FS / F&A service delivery space preferred
MS office skills
- Hands on experience and proficiency in using MS Office applications
SOX
- Experience of being involved in audit control and compliance reviews/ SOX related reviews
- Six Sigma certifications preferred.
QualificationsQualifications
Skills/Experience Required
- Chartered Accountant, CPA, Cost Accountant, CIMA, MBA (Finance), post graduate degree in Finance / Accounting or related stream from a reputed A- class institute with at least 8-12 years of experience.
- Experience of working with audit firms with good track record / leading MNC/ captive BPO in Financial Services
- High level understanding of risk & contols / compliance
- Project management / PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
OTHERS
- Working experience in consolidation activities of financial statements.
- Good communication and ability to interact with multiple employee levels/business partners, etc.
- Possess good analytical and lateral thinking skills.
- Experience in using Excel and knowledge of Six Sigma
- Multi tasking ability and ability to drive initiatives.
- People management skills are a must.
