AVP - Finance & Accounts - Institutional Equity - Broking - CA

Important things to consider:

6-8 years of Experience

Prior Institutional Equity F&A /Investment Banking/related financial services experience is required

Qualification - Chartered Accountant

- Focused CA with experience in accounting and financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, management reporting

- Should be a self-starter with a high energy level, orientation for excellence, accountability and entrepreneurial mindset.

- Individual capacity role. Managing End to End daily Activities.

- Should be open to travel in the Initial months.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking abilities

- Excellent written & spoken English is a must.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Prepare, Review and Report Financial Accounting and Regulatory Returns

- Expert knowledge of Consolidation of accounts of all the group companies ~ Broking/ Asset Management, Private Equity, Wealth Management.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements and identify material factors impacting Group consolidated financials

- Manage Audit & Inspection queries and replies

- Manage regulatory reviews

- Own processes & related document

- Analyze the financial discrepancies by thoroughly assessing the account information; creating annual reports & ensuring seamless finalization of accounts in timely and accurate manner

- Oversight of the overall accounting & finance reporting function for all the group entities

- Constant review of the business performance across products, channels and segments against business plan as well as operating environment

- Enable management decision making by providing relevant and timely insights about business performance

- Reporting of financial & business performance to the Management.

- Structure management decisions into logical steps and co-ordinate with various stakeholders for effective implementation
